Gather with us on Sundays at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM
All of our worship services are centered on the Gospel. Though our services differ in musical style and voicing, both services contain elements of congregational reading, prayer, singing, giving, and hearing the Word preached. On Sunday, everything in the service is part of worship...it is all centered on glorifying God for His goodness and love. We have two services each weekend.
Traditional: Our traditional service (8:30-9:30 AM) features hymns led by our Chancel Choir and accompanied by a powerful organ. Children are invited to participate in this service alongside their families and many families use this time to instruct their kids on how to sit in service. We have a Kid's message and a kid's bulletins to encourage them to follow along. Many who attend this service dress formally/business casual, though that is not a standard we hold. Come as you are!
Informal: Usually going a little over an hour, our informal service (11:00-12:00 PM) is led in song by our 11am music team. With more modern voicing and instrumentation, we lead the congregation in singing ancient hymns, current praise music, and everything in between. Like 8:30, children are invited to participate with their families in service and we have a "Kid's message" just before the sermon where one of our pastors shares a bit about what the morning will be about and prays for the kids. At after the Kid's message, children (pre-k through 5th) are dismissed to our Kid's Space below the sanctuary for a time together of singing, learning, and playing in a way that is more age appropriate for them. Our folks dress casual for this service, but with a few exceptions. All are welcome!
Communion: Generally, on the first Sunday of every month, we have communion at both services. This is a high point in our worship. In our services, we invite everyone who has professed faith in Jesus and desires to receive communion to participate in this important sacrament.
